The 13th China Instant Food Convention and Exhibition

The 13th China Instant Food Convention and Exhibition, formerly named “China Flour Product Convention (CFPC)” and “China Frozen and Refrigerated Food Convention (CFRFC)”, is organized by Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology and will have a grand opening at China National Convention Center (CNCC) on September 4th and 6th, 2013.  

China Flour Product Convention (CFPC) has been held for 12 sessions, 11 sessions for China Frozen and Refrigerated Food Convention (CFRFC), they built a solid foundation in the industry.  In 2013, China Instant Food Convention and Exhibition decides to formally hold CFPC and CFRFC together, which had exerted profound influence on the industry, not only providing broad platform for the industries, e.g. instant noodles (bean vermicelli and rice noodles), frozen and refrigerated food, fine dried noodles, seasoned flour products and other related supporting industries, but also indicating the launch of another round of development for Instant food industry.

To promote enterprise innovation and new round of development and improvement of the Instant food industry, the exhibition area will be further expanded and divided into 6 sections: section for instant noodles, for fine dried noodles and flavor pasta, for frozen prepared food, for facilities and packaging materials, for oriental flavor and natural ingredients, and for industrialized traditional food.

CIFST is China’s National Representative Body to IUFoST

Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology is a national scientific society with members working in food science, food
technology and related professions in industry, academia, and government. As a member of China Association for Science
and Technology, CIFST is founded in November, 1980. CIFST is committed to capability building by recruiting the first-class
professionals, strengthen capability by helping industry and academia, and establish a platform for domestic and international
exchange for food professionals all over the country to promote the development of food science and technology in China. CIFST
joined IUFoST in September, 1984 as China national representative body. CIFST was approved to be IUFoST China headquarter in
2001, and successfully held the 14th World Congress of Food Science and Technology in 2008.
