NNBCS 2014 - The 6th Annual Nuclear New Build China Summit 2014 will take place on Aug.27-29, 2014 at Shanghai, China.

By now, China has 17 nuclear power reactors in operation, 29 under construction, more about to start and the total capacities under construction will over 30 GW. Statistics in 2013 indicates that the total capacity of nuclear energy is 1107.10 GW, accounted for 2.11% of total energy in China and rose12.62% of 2012. According to 《Guidance of China Energy Plan of 2014》, the newly-added capacity will up 8.64 GW, 291% growth of 2.21 GW in 2013. Nuclear power’s future in China would take a hit.
