WCMB 2014 - BIT's 4th Annual World Congress of Marine Biotechnology, with the theme "Exploration, Innovation, and Blue Bio-economic Development", will take place on Oct.16-18, 2014 at Dalian International Convention Center, China.

As the world’s leading conference in marine biotechnology economy, marine biotechnology science, engineering, technology and management, BIT's 4th Annual World Congress of Marine Biotechnology (WCMB 2014) will discuss the views and creative ideas of the international community in addressing marine biotechnology and coastal resource management issues in China.

The sessions of BIT's 4th Annual World Congress of Marine Biotechnology will include plenary sessions, panels, and paper presentations. Poster sessions, workshops, exhibits and social gatherings will also help foster a fruitful exchange of information and ideas. Presentations and plenary sessions will cover a broad spectrum of marine biotechnology and coastal issues that are of interest to a multi-disciplinary and international audience, with particular interest in policy development. These presentations will identify or offer solutions to problems, utilize case studies, identify knowledge gaps or collaboration opportunities, and discuss broader applications and implications of material presented.
