EVENT'S PROFILE:

The Taipei International Robot Show (TIROS Taipei 2011), the most popular international robot show in Taiwan, organized by the Industrial Development Bureau Ministry of Economic Affairs (IDB), Department of Industrial Technology Ministry of Economic Affairs (DoIT), and the Robotics Association Taiwan (ROBOAT) at Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 during August 31-September 3. TIROS Taipei 2011 aims to increase market awareness of the fast growing robotic industry in Taiwan. The show also acts as an important role to promote the latest robotic technologies and products as well as a business matching platform. During the exhibition period, simultaneous events such as robotic competition, conference and forum will also be held.

The Robotics Association Taiwan (ROBOAT) was founded in March 2007 to meet the growing demand on industrial activities and to promote the cooperation and the development of the robotics industry in Taiwan. To integrate the strength and power of related industries such as machinery, electronics, information etc., the ROBOAT acts as a platform for information exchange such as robot technologies and for alliance with different industries, as well as accelerating the development of the related robotics industry.
