China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association (CFPMA) is a national mass organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the P. R. China. The headquarters and permanent departments of CFPMA are located in Beijing.

CFPMA is a nation-wide industrial association with a body corporate position, voluntarily composed of manufacturers, corporations, research institutes and universities involved in the field of food processing and packaging machinery in China.

The aim of CFPMA is to stick to serve its members and promote the development of the whole industry under the direction of the nation's policies, decrees and laws. CFPMA plays the role as a bridge that links between the government and enterprises, manufacturers and users, national and international enterprises of the same industry.

The duty of CFPMA is to take the study of the whole industry entrusted of the Chinese government; to normalize the industrial action and report enterprises’ opinions and requirements; to make industrial standards and development program; to expound and prove major equipments’ technical transformation, import, investment and developing projects; to provide information, statistical data, analysis reports for the government macro-decision-making and technical advice for enterprises; to organize international food processing and packaging machinery exhibitions, information release, seminars and technical exchange as well as international interchanges.

CFPMA is one of the members of Confederation of Packaging Machinery Association (C.O.P.A.M.A.) and has established bilateral or multilateral cooperation relations with the same organizations of U.S.A., U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Czechoslovaki, Russia, Australia, etc. to discuss international industry problems commonly.

CFPMA now has more than 600 members and following committees and branches: Packaging Machinery Committee, Food Machinery Committee, Technical Specialist Committee; Professional Committees of Meat Processing Machinery, Potato Food Processing Machinery; Branch Associations of Molded Pulp Machinery & Products, Cold Food Machinery, Paper Container Machinery, Convenience Food Machinery, Beverage Filling Machinery, Fruit and Vegetable Processing Machinery and Automatic Vending Machines, etc.
