After eight times success since its inception in 2005, China International Commercial Property Industry Expo (CPE CHINA) has become  the most successful large specialized exposition centered on “city, real estate and commerce”. And CPE CHINA has also become an annual industry event that is of the highest standard, the greatest brand value and the most influence in the field of commercial property jointly promoted by the Chinese government and industry organizations. This year, the 9th China International Commercial Property Industry Expo (CPE CHINA 2013) will take place at Hall 2 of Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC, Formerly Shanghai World Expo Theme Pavilion) during Oct.9-11, 2013. 

With the expanding of China's reform and opening up and continuous improvement of its market economic system, the process of urbanization has markedly accelerated. China's urbanization rate reached 51.3% by the end of 2011 and will reach about 65% by 2030.

 

Activities
1. Exhibitions and business meetings
The exposition will set up the four segments of commercial property enterprises and their projects, cities, commercial property supply and services and retail operations at the exhibition site to panoramically show the products and projects of commercial property-related industries, and provide a high-end commerce platform for exhibitions, exchanges and trade.

2. China International Commercial Property Forum (theme: urbanization and urban complexes)
With a strong focus on front-burner issues arising in the process of urbanization and the development of urban complexes, invite senior experts at national ministries and commissions and business elites to deliver speeches, interpret policies, analyze cases and provide advice to realize brand value and promote the sustainable development of urbanization and commercial property.

3. Investment promotion in hot-spot cities (districts)
Organize promotion of investment in land in hot-spot cities, presentations of commercial and trading services and superior resources, project investment press conferences, etc.

4. China Commercial Property Investment Conference and International Retail Brand Extension Information Release Conference
5-10 internationally renowned retail brands that intend to enter the Chinese market will be invited to publish their brand extension plans. Meanwhile, more than 100 branded businesses, investment and financing institutions and commercial property developers will be chosen to attend the conference to get into close contact, develop potential customers, establish a network of contacts, exchange information on extension plans and development needs and look for suitable business models.

5. Investigation and exchange of information on typical projects
Visit and study outstanding commercial property projects in Shanghai and surrounding areas to conduct on-sites reviews and analyze the success of the projects.

6. China commercial property awards ceremony
Take stock of cities and enterprises that made outstanding contributions to the development of commerce of Chinese cities from 2012 to 2013, outstanding commercial property projects and outstanding individuals to set examples that integrate authority, credibility and influence in a new era for the industry, and present awards to them during the exposition.
