China (Shanghai) Snack Food 2014 (SNACKEX ASIA 2014), Asia’s only professional trade show dedicated to the savoury snack food industry, it is jointly organised by the European Snacks Association (ESA) and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import / Export of Food Products (CCCFNA).

SNACKEX ASIA 2011 and SNACKEX ASIA 2012 successfully attracted 362 exhibiting companies from 18 countries to showcase a wide range of savoury snack product and the latest manufacturing technology, equipment, ingredients and flavourings. More than 10,000 professional visitors attended the shows to get up to date with what the savoury snack industry has to offer; to network with peers and colleagues and to make purchasing decisions.

After serious discussion, the committee has decided to change the location of SNACKEX ASIA/ China Snack Food from Beijing to Shanghai. As a result and because the preferred Shanghai venue is fully booked, the committee made the decision that the next edition of SNACKEX ASIA / China Snack Food is planned to be held in Shanghai in 2014.

The European Snacks Association (ESA) is Europe's only trade organization dedicated to advancing the savoury snacks industry on behalf of member snack manufacturers and suppliers.

ESA was founded in 1961 and is guided by a Board of Directors drawn from key member companies, both manufacturers and suppliers to the industry, with successions by biennial elections. We have a broad membership of manufacturers and supplying companies to the industry manufacturing potato chips (crisps), corn chips / tortillas, pellet snacks, baked snacks, crackers, pretzels, savoury biscuits, popcorn, pork rinds, meat snacks, fruit snacks, peanuts, other snack nuts and various other snacks in this category.

China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CCCFNA) was established in September 1988.

The membership of CCCFNA exceeded 5000 companies, among which 19 are honorary vice presidents, 55 are members of the executive standing committee, and 163 are members of the executive committee. Its membership, covering all parts of China, is composed of the largest and most representative companies and a large number of small and medium sized enterprises. The chamber of commerce has set up 42 chambers of commodities, all of which have a nation-wide membership.

The product line of CCCFNA members involve all agricultural, forestry, food and farm products such as cereal, oil, oil seed, fresh and dried vegetable and fruit, poultry, meat, seafood, dairy, wine, beverage, tea, canned food, candy, bee products, edible fungus, wood, forest chemical, essential oil, fragrant, flower, candle, firework, cashmere, down and feather, fur, leather, bristle, casing, rug, carpet, rabbit hair and etc.
