					CompetitionThe 22nd China International Bicycle & Motor Fair (CHINA CYCLE 2012) was held at Shanghai New International Expo Center on April 26-29. It was hosted by China Bicycle Association and organized by Shanghai Xiesheng Exhibition Co., Ltd. The theme of CHINA CYCLE 2012 was “Happy Ride, Happy Life”. Not only the entire famous domestic bicycle enterprises are here, but also many international brands. The number of exhibitors from Europe, the United States and other developed countries has grown by 50% over last year. So, we can say the high-end bicycle market of China is emerging and stepping closer even in the world economic downturn.

				CHINA CYCLE 2012 concluded successfully with 120,000 square meters and 126,632 person-time visitors from 85 nations and regions. The show attracted 1,288 exhibitors from 19 nations and regions.

Dozens of bicycle extreme sports athletes who came from home and abroad, especially those professional ones who came from Europe and America performed their fantastic BMX stunt. The match was really fierce and dazzling. On the basis of last year, 2012 China International X-Games had more events and was bigger and livelier, which made here a most appealing place in the show. CHINA CYCLE 2012 continued to hold the activities of CHINA CYCLE 2012 Creative Products Selection so as to spread and promote bicycling culture and push bicycle industry transformation and upgrading. A special Creative Demonstration Hall was set up on-site and all the awarded products were well-advertised and displayed. By carrying up cultural and encouraging technological innovation, CHINA CYCLE 2012 became a booster for China bicycle industry transformation and upgrading.
