China Aerospace and Aviation Technology Show (CAATS) has been held since 2009 as one of the professional exhibition in China International Industry Fair (CIIF). In recent years, the event has taken advantage of the booming development of aircraft manufacture industry as well as the national strategy of commercial aircraft and aircraft engine R&D in Shanghai, which makes CAATS a very important platform within the industry.

CIIF - CAAt is held biannually, the previous CIIF - CAATS 2011 was held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in 2011. In 2013, the CIIF - CAATS 2013 (China Aerospace and Aviation Technology Show) ) will be held together with CIIF 2013 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from November 5 to November 9.
