Since its first opening in 1995, the Beijing International Stamp & Coin Exposition, with the full support from the People’s Bank of China and other relevant organizations, coupled with the active participation of fellow friends from the coin community, has developed into the most prestigious numismatic event in this part of the world. In 2011, the three-day show attracted 213 exhibitors from home and abroad and more than 30,000 visitors. Our exhibitors have seen, I believe, the steady and prosperous growth enjoyed by China’s numismatic market. They have also enlarged their influence and benefited from dialogues with counterparts in the coin community.
